Plumpton Tennis Club has been around for thirty years. Enthusiasts in the village started playing together in 1981 and the idea of forming a club became reality when the first court was laid in 1985. The club house opened in 1989 and over the years Plumpton has grown into a fine village club with a friendly atmosphere. We now attract members from local towns and across the county.
The club is situated beneath the South Downs within the beautiful Sussex countryside. Our facilities now include 3 outdoor hard courts, 2 with floodlights, a clubhouse with kitchen and toilet facilities, and a car park. We have a qualified LTA coach (both adult and junior coaching) and an extensive events and social calendar which runs throughout the year. We have Mens and Ladies teams in the Sussex LTA leagues, and a Horam league team playing Mens, Ladies and Mixed doubles.
We hold social club nights every Wednesday at 18:00, guests are welcome. Courts are also available to hire by the general public at competitive rates. New members are always welcome. For further information please take your time to navigate the site and contact one of our club officials.
